The virus has disrupted the lives of most people who now inhabit the earth. It will now change the way we interact with others until further notice. This include the wearing of masks when we are out in pubic places. The mask is now the great equalizer when it comes to how we face the world on a daily basis. Those who might have facial features that might cause unwanted attention can now blend in with society as equals.
There is plenty of anger and uncertainty across America because of the fact that those in charge do not have the ability to lead the country through this mess. The racial, and economic divide that is on display daily in the media for the whole world to see. Europe has put a ban on Americans who want to travel there even though they need those tourist dollars. When I look at commercials on the television it’s like looking into the past. It appears that all of human behavior that involves close contacts with others.
Six feet apart wear a mask or you will be six feet down in the earth. That is a hard fact to accept. I for one am waiting for the day I can accept wearing the wearing of a mask and not being bothered by seeing others with masks on their faces. America will have a tough road ahead trying to work out the problem of racial inequality in jobs and especially housing with forty million plus people out of work in the last three months things will surely get ugly when the evictions and foreclosures start again.
Reparations for four hundred years of work for no pay must be addressed by the people who benefited from that labor. That is a subject for another time.
