The turmoil caused by years of fighting and bloodshed in Syria has risen to a new level with the news of an increase in the numbers of refugees leaving that war-torn country who are now seeking some kind of de-facto protection from Israel by camping out in areas close to the Israeli border where they hope to not be attacked by the forces of President Assad who continues with his goal of ethnic cleansing of those who are not part of his religious sect. 160.000 people have been displaced in the past seven days and there is no outrage from the world community in regards to what is happening now and there are no signs of any kind of serious effort by the United Nations to come up with a plan that all of the member nations will agree to or even care about to solve this crisis in a timely manner.
History has proven that when things get really bad there are poor decisions made about how to fix the problems of society. Events tend to overpower all rational thinking and people begin to lose faith in those who we as a society choose as our leaders. Congress seems to only exist to collect a paycheck and continuously run for re-election to keep their jobs. There is nothing new here. The Middle East and the events surrounding our close ties with the state of Israel and the hostile Arab countries that surround it will soon play out on the world stage for all to see. The Revelation mankind has been waiting for centuries to see is closer than the so-called Nuclear countdown clock of the destruction of life as we know it. The midnight hour is as close as it has ever been Biblical interpretations or not.
