A person becomes what he or she thinks about all day. That is what Earl Nightingale who wrote the bestselling motivational book “Think And Grow Rich.” According to the author wherever we find ourselves in life whether it be successful or impoverished it is because of our thoughts. Negative thoughts bring negative results. Positive thoughts positive results. Another example he gave was if 100 people start out in life at 25 as equals by the age of 64 1% are extremely wealthy 4% are comfortable in their lifestyles, 5% are still working and the rest live in poverty and depend on others for support. Conformity is the reason for failure because we act like everyone else without ever thinking about how to be successful. In order to succeed in life, one has to have a goal to accomplish, and not be willing to be told what, how, and when to do it.
Those sitting in prisons are a good example of how we all are in a prison of the mind. When fear, confusion, anxiety, and worry dominate our thoughts so nothing can be accomplished that will change our life situation. The Subconscious mind is like the soil that grows our food. The ground does not care what is planted whether it be crops or weeds whatever is planted will come to the surface. “As ye sow so shall you reap” the Bible saying goes. Our limitations in life are self-imposed by our thought processes. Each one of us wants something and are fearful of something. A cheerful positive outlook along with imagination, courage, and taking action to accomplish the goal we desire. We need to act like that it is impossible to fail.
Jesus said during the sermon on the mount. Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it will be opened to you. Nothing great was ever accomplished without inspiration. Money does not make success. Success makes money. This is something we all need to understand to receive the abundance that the world offers to those who want to think and grow rich.
