For those who are familiar with the business of the construction of homes and office buildings also know what it is to “demo” something that already exists. It means to destroy something to replace it with something else. Or not. What has been happening in Europe because of the mass migration of people’s from the middle east, and increasingly from Africa. The French have been hit with a humanitarian problem not seen since the end of the second world war. In the port city of Calais there have been at one point up to 10,000 refugees from the war-torn countries of the middle east and the horn of Africa. living in tents in hopes of at some point they would be allowed to emigrate from their home countries to a better life in Europe. The bottleneck happens in the refugee camp set up in Calais. Those who are not given refugee status cannot move forward and they cannot go back to the places they once called home.
The French government decided to destroy the camp in order to make the people who were living in miserable conditions to begin with just disappear. Out of sight out of mind as the old saying goes. Some of those who were displaced relocated to the city that is the heart of France itself Paris. Now the problem of what to do about the displaced can no longer be ignored by the status quo whether it be in Europe or America with its own concerns about border security under the Trump administration. The new world order that George H. W. Bush spoke about not so long ago is now coming to fruition. Sometimes when you want to build something new, and improved you have to destroy the walls of what once was the foundation of something that was not quite right from the beginning. It seems we are rapidly reaching that point in time. And now we are running out of time.
Hi there. Merely desired to question an instant dilemma. kdbebbgedgkk
