When we are born into this world we are afraid of two things naturally falling and noise. All other things we are taught thru our life experiences or what we are told, Remember the boogey-man or the monsters who hide in our closets or under our beds. The things we all come to fear are: dying, water, poverty, flying, failure and so on. We all have at some point in time have to confront our fears in order to get along with the business of living. It is an interesting fact that our first fears come back to us in our senior years. There are electronic devices to alert others when we do what? Fall down and can’t get up.
Strange noises in the middle of the night will bring the fear of the unknown once again to the forefront of our imagination. I believe the best way to deal with our combined fears of just about anything is to face what we fear head on. There is no other way to prove to ourselves that whatever is holding us back from a life that is filled with happiness, and accomplishments, and personal satisfaction is can be realized. Each one of us has the ability to control our thoughts, and what we fear the most can be just a random thought that can be dismissed from our daily lives just as fast as it comes into our thought processes.
