If my memory serves me well I understand the term “scapegoat” means someone or something that we as human beings put the blame on for our collective or personal failures. there will always be a need to blame others instead of ourselves. That is who we are now, and have been through all of the recorded history of mankind. The ten commandments are disregarded now by modern society just as they were when first uttered by the disciples of Jesus many centuries ago.

Humanity will always have a  need to blame others for our shortcomings as a modern  society. This burden will always fall on the less fortunate among us. That defines who we are as a modern society and for the foreseeable that is how we will be seen as a major world power. World events are now becoming more and more personal for those who choose to pay attention to them. The problems occurring in that unstable part of our world  known as the middle east will not go away because the president says we will temporarily ban all Muslim  refugees for certain countries  in the middle east from coming  to the United States until further notice.

Our prestige as a world leader or what is left of it is on the line for all to see. Will we as a nation do the right thing? Only time and common sense will tell.
